Introduction

Without a doubt, soccer is one of the most popular sports in the world. Fans from all over the globe meet regularly every time their teams play. On special occasions, such as the World Cup or other international competitions, life even seems to slow down to let the players shine during the game. Ninety minutes of tension, excitement, nerves, joy, and disappointment. Sport is so much more than a physical exercise; it is a way of living, a mood, something that defines who we are, not only as individuals, but also as teams, cities, nations…

The same way Milan is known as the world capital of fashion and Paris as the capital of fine cuisine, Argentina is known for the great talent of its athletes and the passion of their followers. This spirit is carried over to all disciplines of sport, making their athletes feel at home wherever they go. The case of soccer is particularly representative for Argentina, who has won seven America and Intercontinental Cups, two World Cups, and has been home to some of the biggest sporting legends who have ever played: Maradona, Lionel Messi, and many others.

Children in Argentina play in the streets of their cities with the dream of becoming part of their great sporting history. Many of these children grow up to become great players and keep the Argentinian legacy alive. Whether it’s their environment or their genetics is impossible to know, but somehow or another Argentina is a continuous breeding ground for future sporting stars.

However, during the past decade, these talents have been forced to emigrate to other countries to push their skills as far as they can and compete professionally, taking with them part of the dream from the people of Argentina.
Many times these athletes are tempted, or even forced, to move to other countries due to a lack of sponsorships, facilities, or resources to develop their talents at the highest level. Argentina –and its capital Buenos Aires – are well aware of the need to provide these athletes an ideal environment for their training and development so that they can choose to stay in their homeland and play for one of their many national teams.

Proposal

The goal of this competition is to develop the main building of the High Performance Soccer Training Center (BAAR) within the extension of the park and take advantage of the ten preexisting soccer fields that can be currently found there.

This center will serve as an incubator for young national athletes who have demonstrated their talent in soccer but have had difficulty balancing their professional careers with their studies and personal life.

The site

The Julio A. Roca Park is located at the southern corner of Buenos Aires, bordered by El Riachuelo and the General Paz

This park has historically been the home for many sporting events. Within the park we can not only find the historic Grand Prix racing track of Buenos Aires, but also a sailing lake and more modern incorporations such as the José Jurado golf course and the May Terán de Weiss tennis stadium.

Izložba ,,Crteži Natka Marinčića“ postavljena u galeriji ,,Đura Kojić’’ Departmana za arhitekturu i urbanizam u Novom Sadu moći će da se pogleda do 25. maja 2012. godine.

,,Po opštem mišljenju Natko Marinčić (Ruma, 1941 – Novi Sad, 2004) je bio jedan od najtalentovanijih arhitekata i crtača svoje generacije. Ipak, za života nije prepoznat kao vrsni crtač verovatno zbog nezaiteresovanosti sredine, ali i skromnosti i nedostatka ličnih umetničkih ambicija, Marinčićevi radovi ostali su da se otkriju i prikažu posle njegovog odlaska. Crtajući, ali i slikajući lako i brzo, Marinčić je ostvario jedan pozamašan opus koji tek treba da se istraži, zabeleži i prezentuje. Njegovi radovi se mogu svrstati u nekoliko celina: arhitektonski crteži, rapidografima, često potom kopirani pa naknadano bojeni, skicen blokovi, malog formata, sa brojnim crtežima, vizijama i zamislima budućih objekata, crteži sa brojnih putovanja. Iako su Marinčićevi motivi uglavnom vezani za samu arhitekturu ili urbane ambijente u kojima ona igra zapaženu ulogu, smišljani su i rađeni, opušteno, nadahnuto, umetnički. U dahu, sa brzim i preciznim zapažanjima i potezima, isprekidanim ili jednostvnim linijama, Marinčićevi radovi zrače neposrednošću pa čak i nekim pritajenim lirskim momentima, koji kod arhitekata nisu uobičajen slučaj. Veliki broj radova, sačuvan u porodici koja se sa dužnom pažnjom i poštovanjem odnosi prema njegovoj zaostavštini, svakako zaslužuju posebnu prezentaciju u vidu monografske izložbe i knjige, što je planirano u narednim godinama u organizaciji Muzeja savremene umetnosti Vojvodine. Kada budu prikazani širokoj javnosti Marinčićevi radovi će konačno otkriti jednog velikog umetnika i crtača.“ Vadimir Mitrović, istoričar umetnosti, DaNS-časopis za arhitekturu i urbanizam 073/074.

Izložba ,,Crteži Natka Marinčića“ predstavlja prvu izložbu organizovanu u periodu od 22. decembra do 10.januara 2012. godine u prostorijama Društva arhitekata Novog Sada u Miletićevoj ulici br. 20. Ovu izložbu su inicirale i pripremile arhitekte Sonja Stoja i Tatjana Babić u saradnji sa porodicom Natka Marinčića. Pokrovitelj izložbe je Inženjerska komora Srbija.

Velika arhitektonska  izložba „Druga nagrada časopisa Arhitekton“ održaće se od 17. do 19. maja, u Kući kralja Petra I, Vase Pelagića 40, na Senjaku, u Beogradu.

Časopis Arhitekton je raspisao konkurs za projektovanje i izradu idejnog rešenja objekta Paviljona arhitekture. Na konkurs se prijavilo 455 arhitekata i arhitektonskih timova iz celog sveta od čega je pristigao impozantan broj od 290 radova koji ispunjavaju propozicije konkursa. Ovaj broj radova uradilo je 765 arhitekata. Prema ovim podacima i podacima koje smo prikupili na našem portalu arhitekton.netprocena je da je oko 1650 arhitekata učestvovalo u ovom konkursu (deo njih nije poslao svoj rad).

Na izložbi „Druga nagrada časopisa Arhitekton” biće prikazani  svi radovi sa internacionalnog konkursa za idejno rešenje PAVILJONA ARHITEKTURE  u organizaciji časopisa Arhitekton. U okviru izložbenog prostora biće izveden i montiran, u vidu instalacije, segment pobedničkog rešenja.

Predstavljanje studentske radionice i izložbe prostornih instalacija

“Ka Evropi, Bulevarom?” u okviru 34. Salona arhitekture u Beogradu

U okviru pratećeg programa 34. Salona arhitekture koji se održava u Beogradu od 28.marta do 30. aprila biće predstavljena studentska radionica i izložba prostornih instalacija “Ka Evropi, bulevarom”. Otvaranje izložbe i razgovor o događaju planiran je za 11.aprila 2012. sa početkom u 18. časova u galeriji “Žad” – Muzej primenjene umetnosti, Vuka Karađića 6, Beograd.

Ovim povodom pozivamo vas da prisustvujete događaju. Departman za arhitekturu I urbanizam je organizovao zajednički odlazak za Beograd. Polazak je u 14.30 časova sa platoa ispred Ekonomskog fakulteta. Molim vas da se upišete u spisak postavljen na vratima kabineta 504. Broj mesta je ograničen na 50.

Zbog održavanja radionice na predmetima Principi održivog razvoja u arhitektonskom projektovanju i Principi održivog razvoja u urbanističkom projektovanju, studenti koji po rasporedu imaju vežbe u sredu 21.03.2012. treba da dodju u neki od termina u ponedeljak 19.03.2012. (15:15-16:45 AH3 ili 17:15-18:45 AH2).
